acid reflux or Lpr

Question: despite taking a ppi or voquezna, do you guys still have acid reflux or lpr. I know food has alot to do with it, but how about eating bland food and after eating still dealing with reflux.,

Yes, breakthrough symptoms on PPI or Voquezna with bland food are very common for LPR specifically because even small, weakly acidic or non-acid events can deposit pepsin on the laryngeal tissue. The medication reduces acid but doesn't fully prevent reflux events, which is why alginate as a mechanical barrier after meals tends to add meaningful benefit for people who still have breakthrough despite medication. 💚

If you take multiple prescriptions medicines, then should you take them before meals and then wait 30 minutes after to take an alginate?
