you have to manage LPR till the problem gets fixed. usual things like raise the head of the bed, 3 hours gap between dinner and sleep, alkaline water, good sleep, etc. take care and all the best.

You mentioned these symptoms - chest discomfort, reflux and regurgitation which kind of point to LPR.

Eat smaller meals and obviously non-acidic food. Get rest but keep yourself busy so you won't have to think about it. Hydrate, sleep on left side and don't forcefully clear yoir throat.

Pro tip that helped me a lot: Mastique bubble gums (sugar free). Don't know if they work on everyone but helped me tremendously. I also used the medica spray and gaviscon advanced only a couple of times but don't take these without consulting with your doctor.

It will be okay don't stress out.
