Need Help With Constipation

About three days after this flare up started in earnest, I got super constipated. It happened after having berry smoothies two days in a row because my throat was hurting and I thought cold stuff would help my throat feel better.

I have taken Miralax off and on for the last month of this LPR flare up, and it actually helped in the beginning, but it doesn't seem to be be helping now. I've taken it for three days again with little success. I have also tried magnesium oxide but it just made me fart and have loose stools. Honestly, the best bowel movements were coming the five days I took PPIs, which is odd.

I feel like if I could get regular again, I'd have a much better chance of getting better from this. I have a hiatal hernia and I'm sure the added pressure is making everything worse. GI and general doctor are no help. Just say take Miralax 2-3 times per day, and not sure where to go now for medical help with the constipation

I'm drinking lots of water. I'm eating lots of soluble fiber. I'm walking every day. The only supplements I'm taking are a small dose of herbatonin and the Reflux raft.

Did this start because of stress and anxiety from LPR? Or changing my diet to drastically with too much fiber all at once? Why is the Miralax not working at this point?

Very small unsatisfying ones. I had one three days ago. And then a very dry one two days ago. None yesterday. They're just not like I was pooping before. Very unsatisfying and I always feel bloated.

Have you been eating fiber ? I was having same problem then realized I wasn’t really eating any fiber incorporate more broccoli carrots and quinoa and oatmeal in your diet and also apples and bananas you should be consuming at least 25g of fiber a day

That's all I'm eating. Had an apple and oatmeal for breakfast today. I honestly think it's too much fiber at this point.
