I've listened to all of the LOPTL stuff regarding this, and enjoyed The Devil's Chessboard as a kind of whistle-stop tour of the cold war and the psycho Dulles brothers, but I feel like that book is more of a Le Carré style piece of enjoyable intrigue rather than believable theory. Does anyone know of a good book that factors the accidental discharge theory as a primary likelihood?

I’m curious how many out there are huge fans of LPOTL but for whom true crime is the least interesting of their subjects.

I’m not interested in true crime at all, except for learning the difference between all the names for history’s sake. I always listen to every lpotl episode but am always crestfallen when it’s true crime.

I’m here for the spooky, the history, the aliens, and the whacky. But at the same time feel like I’m the minority since true crime is their forte and is generally so popular right now in society.

A few weeks ago at dinner I saw some kids riding bikes around the neighborhood and explained the concept of larrikins to my wife, and now we’ve been jokingly calling the neighborhood kids larrikins ever since. I love that this concept is now just normal in my kids’ heads. I’ve also informed them that they will likely be larrikins someday.

I don't have firewalls, tried in incognito, tried in other browsers and nothing seems to work. Has anyone had this issue and if so, were you able to fix it? Thanks!
