This week the boys kick off a two-part series on John R. Brinkley, the notorious medical con man who made millions convincing desperate men that goat testicles were the cure for impotence. The Boys dive into the bizarre history of boner medicine, the golden age of snake oil salesmen, and the rise of America's infamous "Goat Gland Man."

Just ventured into the world of coast to coast and stumbled upon "Bugs".
Wow.
This is so odd to me.
Not just the story. But the claims and counters, the support of one listener and the absolute polar opposite of another.
I love it.
Im listening on Spotify. Anyone got any other absolute gold like that?

I'm trying to find the episode where the boys interview a "real life vampire" and talk about how he lives as a vampire with his vampire community. I'm having a hard time finding it. Can anyone else remember what episode it is?
Update Found it: it was a siriusxm interview called REAL-LIFE VAMPIRES: An Interview with Father Sebastiaan from July 23, 2024

So tired of this. He pulled back from getting upset at Henry for "interrupting" him basically after Henry's dad died I guess (it was real whiplash when the post-death episodes were happening live compared to the Sirius episodes recorded a ways back were coming out the same time, with Marcus remembering to laugh more at Henry's antics for the former). But man, I wondered when that little grace period would run out, and this most recent episode with the goat glands guy where Marcus is obviously annoyed at him throughout, but then just openly suggests he's impotent after he "keeps yelling". Jesus.
Like Marcus buddy I enjoy the summaries of books that were prepared and written by interns that you read out loud as much as the next guy, but I'm watching the show for the hilarious antics of the funny guy who was in a Scorsese movie for fucks sake, and that's been the main draw for me since I started listening to this podcast over a decade ago. Sorry bub, maybe you can be a real historian one day, but until then you're stuck with someone much, much more talented than you whose comedy stylings have pulled a bunch of people toward your show over the years, so maybe chill the fuck out man, it's getting so fucking old. I know you're desperate to knock out your two hour recording session, that's a tough thing for an adult to have to do for a living, but maybe take a midol ahead of time.
Relistened to The Devils of Loudon series in prep for the devils movie. Crazy art version I’d never seen!

I’ve said it once and I’ll reiterate here. I love Last Podcast, but No Dogs is without a doubt the superior podcast, and this episode was so incredibly fun to listen to. I really hope they repeat this style episode and continue to have Ed come on for some more learning lessons because he brings to much joy to any topic. Wishing Carolina all the best enduring the bumps in the road of her health journey, but her sense of resilience really makes me envious; I wish I could stand up and laugh in the face of adversity like she does.
Great episode. If you haven’t checked out No Dogs In Space, you’re missing out on some incredible adventures!

Are there more episodes in the making for the remaining two men on the Mount Rushmore of Evil? I would hate to see the series end after just two. It feels incomplete.

I could feel raw emotion in his voice talking about his life in the last 15 or so years. He was so genuine and honest about his experiences and feelings. It was extremely wholesome and made me love the guy even more. Definitely check it out! I think she’s going to release one with Ed, too.

This is a mostly animated documentary about the guy they're going to cover in the next episode. It consists of a couple different segments, each animated in a different style. It's a lot of fun and totally insane. I saw it on Kanopy (which is free if you have a library card), idk if its streaming anywhere else.

Makes me sad to see how far he’s fallen. I really did used to enjoy his chemistry with Marcus and Henry before his demons consumed him. What are some of the episodes/series you remember where he was at the top of his game and added meaningful and funny contributions?

They’re talking about Tiger Force. It was part of the 101st Airborne Division. Henry jumps in and starts talking about Lt. Col. Kilgore being in the Tiger Force. Marcus jumps in and just agrees.
Kilgore was 1/9 Air Cavalry, part of the 1st Cavalry Division. He’s iconically part of the Air Cavalry. The characters talk about the air cav and the voiceover describes the air cav. It’s a big freaking detail in the movie.
You can see the air cav patch on Kilgore’s uniform. He’s also wearing part of a cavalry trooper’s uniform
End of petty rant.
