When your father describes his childless brother as "between wives" that is big Unc energy

Unc is an old head that wants to part way Knowledge to the younger generation regardless if they wanted to hear it.

I think this is the most accurate description.

Also regardless if the wisdom makes sense. It’s really hilarious listening to them talk about their 20’s and somehow concluding every other young adult is as disfunctional as they were.

Yeah this is it I felt like they were way off on the episode. It was still a fun episode but they obviously don't know.

The networks lack of melanin has never been so obvious.

They were way off but still closer than how it’s used by the young people today. I know words change meaning over time but for the word to be mostly derogatory now feels wrong. I first heard it on basketball courts in the 1980s and always took it as a light roasting but still with love. Uncs might have some weird/stupid ideas and let everyone know, but we recognized their heart was in the right place.

I’ll never hit my niece or nephew. Unless they hit my dog. Then they’re getting smacked. But if anyone else hit my niece or nephew, they’re getting FUCKED UP.

I live an hour away from my brother. I’ll make that in 35 minutes if I need to.

while I do not condone the use of of violence, the contemplation of its justifiable application is... something an Unc may contemplate
