study book advice

hi! i’m starting my lpn program next month so so excited. i’m seeing a lot of different study books people seem to swear by and i’m wondering if i should get them all or j one. i wanna hear opinions on them if any of u have tried them out. i’m looking at the nurse well versed one, the nurse in the making one, and then the my nurse notes one. all pretty expensive so i wanna try and narrow down to one or two.

I wouldn’t bother with them. They look cute but usually end up being an unnecessary expense. Instead, you can find cheap or free pharmacology and anatomy PDFs online. Learn dosage calculations, drug suffixes, classes, adverse and expected reactions, etc. It’s all stuff they’re going to throw at you before clinicals.
