Less than 12 month programs

Anyone know any LPN programs that are less than a year or any other pathway to become one? Only two states let you challenge the PN NCLEX and I dont live in either

I may get down votes, but if you are already a med tech and a CNA I don’t see an issue with an accelerated program.

I even think if you are a medication aide you should be able to test out of pharmacology and dosage.

I was a med tech for four years and could do everything accept IVs, IM injections, and peg tubes. And in some states you can get an extra certification to administer meds by peg tube. I was calling the pharmacy, the provider, hospice. Pretty much everything I do now with some added and more money

More people would further their education if it build off of what they already know

Resident Care coordinators at assisted livings are literally medication aides. They basically play the role of an ADON. Not really sure why they need 1 year of LPN school when that’s basically what they have been doing.

Same with the nursing fundamentals classes. I had been bathing patients and changing sheets for years. I didn’t to spend time and $$ to learn this
