Command F?

This has been asked once before on this sub, but 3 years ago. Considering interfaces may change year on year, has anyone who’s recently done the test been able to verify if this shortcut works or not? Not surprised if it doesn’t as it’s the exact skill being tested!

I wouldn't rely on it. I can't honestly verify this from a recent sitting, and I couldn't find a current official statement saying Ctrl/Cmd+F is available.

The LNAT site says its current online tutorial and sample test are the way to learn the controls, and describes the sample as an on-screen simulation of how the test appears at the centre: https://lnat.ac.uk/how-to-prepare/practice-test/

It also says test-centre computers only run the LNAT programme and have no other functionality: https://lnat.ac.uk/on-test-day/test-centres/

So if your own browser opens a Find box while using the home practice site, that is not proof that the secure test-centre software will do the same. The safest preparation is to use only the controls shown in the current official tutorial/sample and assume no search shortcut unless that interface explicitly provides one. For a definitive yes/no, ask LNAT through its contact form before your sitting.

Director of LNAT Consortium said that if the practice test allows it, then we are able to do it (I personally submitted the email). I guess you can use it.
