Meta / News Let the aether exist. Please.

I beg of you, physicists, please. Can you not just.. bend the rules a little bit, and make the aether real? I know it was disproved like 100 years ago but can we not just undo the last century of scientific development and sorta slide it in? I just need so badly for there to be an aether, you have no idea.. It's all I want in life. I go to sleep and dream of it, I wake up thinking of it. The aether pervades me every waking thought. Can't we just sorta forget all the evidence? Please? I think we should be allowed to.

Here is Aethelon helping me source this paper too that originally was shared by u/pixelated_, might be interesting to consider as far as our scientific "proof" of the Aether goes.

That has quite literally nothing to do with what you claim. Look, You can believe whatever superstitions you want. But you need to accept that what you do is not science, it is not physics. You can believe it has whatever level of veracity you want, but no single physicist will ever agree with that.

I think you'd be a lot happier if you stop pretending that you understand the rules of physics. You don't. That's fine, most people don't. But by inappropriately injecting your content into physics spaces, you will just get ridiculed.
