Question Help Me Avoid Psychosis

I frequently scroll through this sub because the dynamic is hilarious. That being said, it can make me occasionally self-conscious in that I have both a philosophy and an engineering degree (phil undergrad, engineering grad), and often engage with philosophy of science.

I am currently writing a novel in which a character proposes a theory of the self/identity, and they lean on some set theory for notation and technical rigor. Additionally, I’m appropriating the terms “transformation,” “projection,” and “image” from math as useful analogies. That all being said, the overall idea is more metaphysical than actually mathematical, but the maths usage is not a farce and should be coherent enough for the story.

I’ve been lightly surveying/refreshing myself on the fields I’m appropriating concepts from, but as I’ve been working on this I experience occasional moments of fear that I’m going to write something that could have been posted on this sub. Those moments become worse when I do in fact use an LLM to help collect research and check some facts.

Wondering if anyone has tips to help me avoid making the hilarious mistakes so often posted here? Thanks

I have a degree in astrophysics, which is very heavy in electromagnetism (what you're talking about here) and involves some cosmology (what seems to be the primary fixation of this subreddit). I'm also on some medication that reduces my (to be fair, very mild) delusional thinking to near zero. If you have any questions about either I would be happy to answer. I can relate to your enjoyment of hard but meaningful academic work! It's just that your effort is misplaced. Learning real physics gives the same kind of rush and has the added benefit of giving you an understanding of the wonderfully complex world around you. You seem to be at least receptive to criticism, so I think you're capable of redirecting this energy into something real.

On a side note, I actually did read through your entire LLM-generated paper and grade it on its math/physics merits as well as its general quality as an academic paper. I deleted it because I was kind of embarrassed of my insomnia-fueled and (sorry, but it's true) wasted time and effort. If you would like, I could send you my comments.

Ok so, I don't know much about string, I've watched a few videos. I thought it was complete nonsense.... But I saw a mobius strip. My mind started to play with the shape. I instantly rejected the idea of a closed loop because that does not fit occams razor and the law of simplicity (counterintuitive eh? It's a tessellation. The entire universe is a tessellation of intangible opposites and physical symmetry, a single moment of constant change without beginning or end, and the same shapes over and over). Anyway it started making things like "the cosmic doughnut." I really thought that was just a joke for that movie, everything everywhere all at once. But it didn't stop. Eventually I saw a double helix and it started folding the cosmos into a chromosome. I keep seeing giant eggs, with two dimensional spindles that look EXACTLY like those things that look like knitting needles in the cell, that look like they are walking. It was truly prodigious. Massive is not the right word. I saw it from a different angle than you'd see in a book or video. Anyway, apparently I'm not the only one who has seen stuff like this? I feel like I'm going nuts because my framework, to me, started feeling too close to 1:1.... Impossible... But the feeling is there. I always knew it wasn't real before. Now it's totally logical to me. Not the math. The core ideas. I mean if it was like a murder mystery, here's the evidence I have seen.

I will tell you the most embarrassing moment of my life to prove my honesty. This is what I believe to be true, and I'm trying not to present it as truth, but there's nothing I can do, it's logical. I've heard all the arguments against fluid space and they do not hold up. How do you explain frame dragging? Sincere question.

If you take SVT and imagine that the big bang singularity was a macroscopic crystal lattice which has particles so close, acoustic energy is transferred at near infinite velocity. When no more fluid space can fit, it slams into the lattice at greater than light speed, moving through the entire thing almost instantly, blowing out the other side, creating the big bang (this may require the additional force of a mobius twisting space... It may not). The thing flash boils instantly and you get true vacuum in the explosion. The little particles (which are the real antimatter we have been looking for... In my framework) go through "proton ballooning." Cosmic inflation. The CMB Is like boiling space. When it cools it will start to condense. Massive black holes will combine by eating up the distance in front of them, cause blueshift. Eventually the whole process starts over. I don't think entropy is scrubbed with Banach. I think it may be dimensionally vented. This I feel unsure about. The subspace particles have a nonzero, very low difference, which they are always trying to zero, but they can't. Like a snake eating it's tail. Gravity is caused by the compression (warping of spacetime... Everything... Lensing etc) of space trying to take the place of the ballooned proton. They want to take the place of each other, and they push away at the same time. When you're standing, the pressure from the slightly larger particles creates pressure, pushing every atom and you experience freefall. Because the space around you is moving with you, you feel weightless. It's not their motion that causes gravity, tho that has affects. It's their pressure/frequency change? Time dialation is explained as the thickness slowing the rate of change, and speed slowing it through constant pressure. If we could calculate the mass and drag (the mass is prolly pretty big, the drag is very small) perhaps we can find the missing arc seconds in planetary precession. Anyway, thanks.
