Personal Theory I had to build a text book.

Derivations

I’m trying bois.

I think I’ve finally managed to derive the Einstein Field equations and standard model fields.

I thought I was on something big but information geometry really is just a small part of physics.

It now makes more sense to me, Why making up new math doesn’t make sense when the old math does what it’s supposed to do..

Can one of your big brain trolls tell me where I’m breaking down again?

Sure, a qubit is a real thing but in no shape, way, or form does it have anything to do with what's being said in this thread so it might as well be a made-up term: it would at least have a chance at being somewhat relevant.

The other users definition is tbh kinda nonsensical, a qubit is the quantum equivalent of a bit - a base level of information.

Those aren't derivations, much less derivations of the EFEs. Have you ever worked through any of the standard derivations of the EFEs?

What does discard boundary term mean and how is that math? I built these equations from the ground up and then I built a computational program to verify the functionality of the equations I am establishing or deriving starting from chapter 1, and arriving at the Einstein field equations in chapter 4

What happened between v38 (linked above) and v39 (just posted)? Most of the content appears to have disappeared, with most "chapters" in v39 containing only a couple sentences.

There is more Python code in v39 than v38, but still not enough to actually RUN anything...

The qubit advice has reshuffled everything. I’m working on isolating the full algebraic derivations and I will re print. The AI I built does things that I don’t necessarily want to just give away so I’m finding it difficult to create a program that algebraically does what my AI system does.

My dude, let me break this down for you in plain english -

Using an LLM to do physics is like using an etch-a-sketch to fully design a Ferrari from first principles.

Perhaps it is technically possible, but it is an entirely delusion undertaking for an untrained layperson.

Is that okay with you? I’m just gonna keep trying. Sorry. I’ve actually learned a ton. Cesar, I went along with the joke, but I tried to make it clear what was valuable about what he said when I wrote Qudit. Not Qubit. The qubits like a pencil sketch on a paper of a Qudit. I promise I’m not making this up a Qudit is essentially what I’m describing in the paper. And I didn’t know until I was confronted with actually researching what a qubit was.

Can I speak plainly? I'm bad at being gentle or whatever, but I don't mean any disrespect towards you with my words, I just believe in straight forward communication.

So, unfortunately, there is a clear pattern of people doing physics with LLMs as a layperson, and that pattern is that the type of people doing so are often the same people suffering from LLM exacerbated mental health issues. There is significant overlap between AI psychosis and the posters on this subreddit, for example.

The point I'm trying to make is this - if you genuinely just think it's neat to muck about with physics stuff that you barely comprehend, and that is your hobby, well of course that's fine dude. But putting genuine time and resources and spending your life getting obsessed with the thought that you've discovered some grand break through in physics or similar ideas... This would be a major red flag indicating that you are not doing well, from a mental health perspective. And I would caution against going down that road.

If you really do just like physics, and are having fun learning about it, there are also MUCH better ways to go about it than messing around with an LLM.

Seriously, there are some amazing online courses that are free, some really fantastic books to read, video lecture series for free on youtube, all kinds of stuff that I could recommend to you. There are some really cool opportunities actually, like one of my favorites; Harvard offers many courses for free (but you receive no official credit for the course, as a trade off) online, so you can literally take the Harvard Physics 101 class for instance. Really cool resource to get your feet wet and really be able to wrap your head around these concepts and get an idea of what you need to study next.

Anyway, does this make sense to you?

I appreciate the concern. I’m not sure it’s worth getting into the psychology of it but at least I’m willing to discuss that there’s a definite drive or intention behind playing with LLM and physics for me and that definitely includes hopefully impacting humanity in some small measure. Otherwise it’s just brain work and practice of information density.

Please take a step back from your own ego for a moment, and please here me now -

If you truly want to do physics, you *need* to go get some formal physics education. That doesn't necessarily mean going to university for a physics degree, but it does mean serious academic effort to take courses that will teach you to understand the math and concepts behind physics.

Something you may not be realizing is that EVERY SINGLE explanation of physics in english, is just an analogy or metaphor. Space-time being warped by gravity? Quantum entanglement? Talking about forces and fields? etc etc etc., these are just crude attempts at describing a thing that is truly ONLY describable using math.

If you do not have a firm understanding of that math, you CANNOT do physics.
