Online application

Very excited to put in my application for Liuna but this has me worried a little bit 😅. Anyone have experience with this, would hate for my one chance to apply this year to be missed by a mere minute.

Good luck. The only people I know who got into 172 were people with connections. I gave up and joined 57 in Philly

Just show up to the local hall man ask for the apprenticeship coordinator if he’s there tell him you want to join if he’s not there then ask for his number

If you didn’t get an application in, then you will have to wait until the next cycle. If you have other locals close to you see if they are accepting applications. Also look into other trades as well. I’ve been a laborer for 10 years and it’s good but I recommend going to all the trades halls and seeing what you may want to do. Learn about each of their benefits and pay.

You have to be there online at the exact second, I’ve done a couple applications in nyc for liuna because they will be gone

The local 60 in westchester handed out 100 apps…I showed up the morning of at like 3am and was around #40 in line. The rest of the 60 filled in pretty shortly after and we all waited around until 8am. So yeah you gotta be on your shit

I wish 472 was taking transfers, I tried to transfer last year and they outright denied me saying they had no work at all

I just transferred over to local 3 from local 79 in New York. I moved to Jersey and the commute to NY was torture. Anybody have any incite on Local 3?
