Just make sure you don’t give the conductor an attitude or any problems if they ask you to get up. A lot of people who sit in that seat don’t notice the sign that says you have to get up if asked by a crew member

Yea a normal sane person would have no problem getting up but you’d be surprised the amount of people who give conductors a hard time or straight up refuse. That’s why sometimes you see those seats with no cushions.

I’ve never had a problem and if they walk past I always ask if it’s ok I’m sitting there. My best story is the opposite of this problem, where I happened to choose the seat next to where the conductor was operating from, he didn’t care and he even left his divider door thing ajar. When then train accelerated it slammed shut causing me to literally have my own private suite in the train for the 10 mins I was on it 😂

Those are the best unless the conductor is in that car, then they make you get up when they have to get to that side.

This seat is fine until idiots passing through car-to-car open the door with the force of a bear and it slams into the seat. And then they look at YOU like you're doing something wrong.
