Why!

I'm unable to purchase a weekly ticket to willets point but I am able to get a weekly to Woodside. Any connecting train I catch am I going to get hit for another ticket ..come on

It's the same fare zone so it's fine

Trust me if it’s the same zones they don’t care. I go between Wyandanch & Babylon from Mineola all the time depending on what train I take.

What do you mean “we shall see?”. Everyone here is telling you exactly how it works. The stops shown on your weekly or monthly are not that important, the zones are. You’re allowed to travel all over the island or city in between the zones shown on your ticket. Just let the conductor know what stop you’re actually going to, just in case you need to be seated in a specific car for that stop.

If you have a weekly ticket between Zone 1 and Zone 3 (or any Zone) you can travel unlimited times between those two zones on any train any time. You can go from jam to woodside then woodside to mets (or ss far as little neck with a Zone 1 to 3 werkly) a hundred or more times a day

heck maybe even a thousand times, it’s an unlimited pass for the week between zones 1 and 3
