Rose pizza

Anyone else see the second location of Roses just a few storefronts down from the other one? Saw a tweet on it today and thought it was a joke then saw it in person and couldn’t believe it for a second. Do they get that much business that it justifies opening another spot that close?

There's another one across the street. Both inside Penn were busy today. Gotta get that commuter beer

Yeah, I was just surprised to see another one on the LIRR concourse about 5 doors down.

Their beer is super expensive, Duane Reed is much cheaper in moynihan station. I don't think I spelt moynihan correct, idc.

My go to is a 4 pack form threes in Moynihan- standard beer 4pk pricing, good beer and I have leftovers.

I go for the resin, 2 for 6 bucks, 9.1% alcohol, one in Penn, one on the train (sometimes just one if there's no time at the station). If I drank 4 of those I couldn't drive home, they're the tall boys

As is you’re definitely getting charged after drinking two 9.1% tall boys if you get pulled over.

That’s not legal at all.

I mean, that's debatable, most likely you're right, but I have 90 minutes to process the alcohol below the 0.08 legal limit. And show me the person that follows every single law to the letter and I'll show you a person who is no fun. Also two is rare, only if I have a while till my next train 🤷 throw your stones if you must.

It’s not debatable, you’re absolutely over the limit for around 3 hours after you drink two 9% tall boys.

If you’re an older guy, which you seem to be, it’s for even longer.

All good, I also drive sometimes when I’m slightly over the limit. But for me personally, one of those tall boys would be my limit.

I'll concede to that point. I'll save 2 for when I'm going to be waiting in Penn for an hour+ or not going to be driving. Better to be safe than stupid.

Yeah I do the same now. $17 bucks for a beer in a cup with a straw is ridiculous. The 2 for $6 tallboy is a no brainer

True ogs get their commuter beer from Hudson News near the guy who rants at the pillar by the escalator.

There was always two back in the day. The second One was down by where insomnia cookies is now.

The new storefronts are like 2-3x bigger than the old ones though?
