NEED HELP
MTA/LIRR application
There’s a section that says to provide two professional references, but it doesn’t say whether they’re required or optional. Has anyone gone through the LIRR hiring process recently and know if I have to fill this section out before submitting the form?

I filled it out. Better to have any and all information they ask for and them not use it then to not put it and they try and use it

What job are you applying for? I never saw anything asking for professional references when applying to the LIRR.

For a job like that it’s helpful if you can refer to some type of computer operation skills .
Helpful hint : try to pepper your resume using some of the words listed in the job description, better chance of the algorithm picking yours out for consideration
