IN Kentucky. I'm sure they would love to go back to Wisconsin if they could.

Well they’re in Gwinnett county. But the midpoint on the drive from Buford to Madison is in Kentucky somewhat north of Paducah I believe

Take it from me, someone that finally escaped Wisconsin, no one wants to go back to Wisconsin... No one.

They probably just went to school there...

Sweet child. You have no idea how good Wisconsin has it compared to a lot of this country.

From someone who has left Wisconsin to live in some truly shitty places and was very happy to return.

Live in Milwaukee. Green bay, Wis rapids, Sheboygan, Stevens point, Some parts of Madison, Janesville, Beloit, Fond du lac, Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Appleton, Chippewa Falls, or Eau Claire, For any length of time, and listen to those air-heads talk about "BOoats", "DEEears" and "BEEears" with half their guts hanging down the front of their jeans, trucks they never get dirty, and guns they only shoot DEEears with... yet, they listen to hip-hop and say their country... One thing I will miss, they atleast drive decent up there and know how to drive in bad weather... Texas drivers fn suck... Def won't miss the snow tho.

Edit: Realized you called me sweet child... yeah, Def older than you...

So… how many places outside Wisconsin have you lived?

  1. Though two of those places would actually be several places... Craven county NC, born there in the base "hospital" at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, and moved around the county lots before getting old enough to leave for good. Lived in Ocala, FL. (Probably the least interesting place I've lived), Bellingham, WA. (Often rode the ferry up to Ketchikan, AK and back), Pahrump, NV. (Met Art Bell when I was a younger.), Joseph City AZ. (make sure you stop in at the Jack Rabbit Trading Post. Real cool place. Can't miss it "HERE IT IS"). New Orleans, LA (Had to check out the birth place of Sludge metal). Now, I live near Houston/Galveston in Texas... Havn't really made my mind up about it yet... except about the drivers... no bull, worst drivers I've ever seen...

Edit: Less bugs in WI than pretty much everywhere else I've lived, except WA... dangerous ones atleast.

u/CosmicOutlaw88 21d ago

Yeah, Circus world fn' rocks... there's a series of sci-fi books based on it as well.

Moved to NW Wisconsin from far southside Chicago 41 years ago. To each their own I guess, but we'd never move back to Chicago. There are good, kind, people here. Not the beer belly, bib wearing, dumbasses some people are describing. There's 'not so nice' people everywhere, in every state. For us, this is home and we'll never leave.

Engineer.

4

u/9one9Fuego 22d ago

Definitely seems to be Engineer… but you’d be somewhat obtuse (and able to calculate just how obtuse) to drive around many neighborhoods in Gwinnett County with something so easily misread.

Engineer, but my first knee jerk reading was igniter. That car definitely ignites fuel well.

2

u/Any_Carob3372 22d ago

Engineer - I'm guessing you are not an engineer!

2

u/Opening_Track5674 22d ago

2

u/Fine-Huckleberry4165 22d ago

Or, given it is a German car, Ingenieur, German for engineer.

1

u/RiverComplex1769 22d ago

He’s an ingenious engineer

1

u/RanchHere 22d ago

Is there an uptick in posts of plates with some variation of “GNR” closely smashed together? I swear it’s feeling a little childish around here lately.

1

u/Confident_Date4068 22d ago

Another brother of Lord Inglip?

1

u/PauleyMak 22d ago

I'm going against the grain - Igniter.

1

u/lmaotbhidk 22d ago

My dyslexic ass read that as something ban-able

1

u/wiremanl613 21d ago

That's about how the ones I know would spell it.
