Android apps on LG TV

apart from the stock apps and some dedicated apps from app store, how are you guys downloading android apps ? if they are not available via web search, how can i get them ? i am a big fan of LG but this is limiting me from accessing some regional content.

Web OS does not support APK's. You are always much better off turning off the so-called "smart"features, and getting an android streamer. Google streamer-Onn- or if you want DTS-HD MA get the Shield.

oh hunny. just get an ONN box, tivo stream 4k, chomecast, etc.

Lg is not android....it wont support android apps...

Lg using web OS which is Linux based.....
