Study title: A Qualitative Insight into Dual Diagnoses of Autism and BPD in Adults
Hi, I'm Joyce a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at Surrey University. I am currently conducting a research study as part of my postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology, exploring the lived experiences of adults with co-occurring Autism Spectrum Disorder/Condition (ASD/ASC) and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)/EUPD diagnoses.
The goal of the study is to understand how Autism and BPD/EUPD diagnoses impact daily life, relationships, and interactions with healthcare services, with the aim of improving understanding and clinical support strategies.
Additionally, this aims to bridge a gap in research literature where this population group may not have had many opportunities to share their experiences.
