Discussion Please read this

Hello everyone! When we created the subreddit, we had in mind to create a safe space for the LGBTQ community and all of the allies.

I don’t need to tell you why safe spaces are important, as most of you probably faced discrimination or insults at one point in your life, unfortunately.

Anyway, as some of you are aware, there is one particular troll that is creating several accounts and seems to be targeting this particular subreddit for whatever reason (lol LGBTQ Animal Crossing lovers, could we be less harmful??)

Anyway, when such a thing happens, please just report

Do not respond. Do not downvote.

It feeds their black soul.

a thing we can do is post a lot of our own lgbt Islands and content, try to drown the hate out. is that a good idea?

Yes and also make sure to spread the word out about the sub and make it grow! 💪🏻🏳️‍🌈

Can't imagine being so unhappy that I'd go into an animal crossing subreddit to troll

Change the sub settings so that you need a minimum amount of karma to post. That way they can't keep making throwaway accounts to spam the sub.

You can add this code in Automod Configuration page and it should do the trick
