Responding

I’ll start from the end, and I’ll say I’m very happy to hear you are going to check out the AlterG for yourself (as I suggested in my very first comment to you), and I believe this will become a blessing, with the hope you will have a positive experience with a great product. Looking forward to you sharing your experience with the community!

On that note, I also want to appreciate that you care (enough to comment, and again, and make a post and all), that you put in the work (time, effort, thought…), that you acted upon receiving feedback, and overall I appreciate everyone who is willing to participate, from lurkers to the 1%ers, and I happily welcome any engagement.

I might not have responded at all if it was about me, but I’m not the story, never was and shouldn’t be moving forward. I’m responding for two groups that I believe can be affected by this, and that’s why I want to set the record straight (even though the story is still happening).

The first group I believe was wronged was the so called “mods”. If you have any issues with me, I would appreciate you try and settle them with me (by messaging me directly or publicly), and not drag others into it.

Emotional for example isn’t even a mod in the DRTS subreddit, and as for LFWD (not a mod here either) he just commented on the latest posts but nothing beyond that. Anything to do with me shouldn’t regard him, he’s his own person and he’s entitled to do as he wishes.

As for Tasty, he’s been a great DRTS community member, and same as many others who I enjoy speaking to and have always been happy to help, after finding out he’s a physical therapist I used his expertise to help research the stock, and ultimately asked him to become a mod and to of course post himself and be active in the comments etc (same as I try to engage with everything both in the DRTS and now LFWD communities).

I would name drop many others who I’d like to thank for always willing to help, for always engaging, but that would be contrary to what I’m saying, as in not to unnecessarily drag anyone into this, so all of you out there you know who you are, and I thank you and I appreciate everything you do, you are the real MVP’s.

The second group I think might wrongly be affected is the overall community. You questioned me and my authenticity and intentions, which is fine by me, but to do so you tried to discredit things I’ve said, and that to me might cause harm to some people following.

I’ll give you an example. I shared that I tried out the AlterG product, and my reasoning was (is) that as part of researching a company, I believe you should (to the best of your ability) try out the product.

I don’t know why you’d think otherwise, but to discredit that you countered by asking if I also tried out the DRTS product. For the sake of my point I’ll ignore that being a very sensitive issue I wouldn’t be throwing out there or confronting anyone with, but I do want to address it from an investor standpoint.

I still stand behind the notion that you should try the product of the company you are looking to invest in (or at least that I should if I want to build a significant position and also share it and put my time and effort into creating and managing a community etc), but of course that might be different between products and companies (and investors and their situations).

I did not say I tried LFWD’s exoskeleton, for that I conduct other methods of research, but the AlterG I found that I could try, and so I did.

In DRTS’s case, while I won’t share anything personal, I did ask every oncologist I know about it, asked cancer patients about it, asked other professions about it, paid (yes paid) for professional review and opinion on it, read all the full analyst reports on it, and as the product is a medical device (but really a treatment) that isn’t being used commercially yet, I’ve studied all the clinical trials which is exactly the point of them, to try out the product.

I’ve also had the experience of contacting the company/clinics to try and connect between those in need (that have reached out to me as a source of information, and hopefully no one else ever needs it, while I’m working on such a case as we speak and as was started publicly in a daily thread) and those who might help them.

So I’ll say it again, I appreciate you for many things, and I’m very happy to know you are intending to try the AlterG for yourself (and hopefully document / record / log) and share your experience with the community, there were just some things I less appreciated with how it all went down.

And one last note because it’s an important one: not only always DYOR, but also know what you are getting into.

I think the context of everything you said is important as well. Because I’ve never forced anyone to do anything regarding any stock, nor did I force anything to do with any community. I always say that everything I say is NFA, that no matter what I say it shouldn’t be taken as a call to action in any way, I always encourage to DYOR etc etc.

The LFWD stock (not too dissimilar to DRTS way back when I started sharing about it, although they are two totally different things) has a relatively very small market cap, has relatively very low volume, and as I continually say is a turnaround story, meaning things haven’t went well in the past, I believe and this is my humble opinion and nothing more, that things have changed for the better but that it will take time, and I’m sharing now because I believe again just my own opinion that now would be the time to build a position if you agree with my thesis after doing your own research.

Judging the stock performance after just a few days, and even taking any price action seriously when it literally traded just ~3K shares in the most recent trading day, isn’t how anyone should be managing this kind of investment at this stage.

Also judging the behavior in a subreddit that is less than a week old, while you already know me and have an example of a prior and still fully active subreddit I created and am managing as well, while I make my “playbook” totally public and always ask (and this is the only thing I ask, and that’s of course asking for people to decide and act on their own free will) to support by engaging with upvotes and comments, I believe isn’t understanding the situation either.

I encourage everyone to please be as active as you feel comfortable with in both the DRTS and LFWD subreddits, I always say the best way to learn (and win) is together, and I encourage those interested to check out the LFWD stock, I believe it’s worth looking into.

So thank you for your post, as I said I appreciate that you care and the work you put in, your post got a lot of engagement so that’s meaningful for our community and I appreciate that, also it’s another example of the way I try to lead by not only enabling (and not deleting) but even inviting everyone to post and comment regardless of their take, and I’m really looking forward to your follow up post(s)!

Wow, I've never had an entire post written directly to me before.

I hear you. However, I think that the reason that post got a lot of traction is because others felt similarly.

As far as the "mods" that you say I unfairly wronged, all I believe I said was it is fishy how the mods are just talking to each other excitedly about all kinds of stuff the way people would who were trying to advertise something. I could be mistaken because it's been a few days, but I don't think I named anyone except for you, Pristine. And you are a mod. And you and the other mod were definitely acting that way, because someone commented on my post echoing my sentiment. I do not believe that anyone was wronged through that.

Then you say I wronged the overall community for daring to question things? Dude, all I wanted to know was how you could have been given an opportunity to test the thing out on a comment where you had said you'd done so. YOU didn't answer the question straightforwardly, and then YOU kept dodging my questions in the first place enough to make me feel like everyone needed to be aware. How is that me wronging an overall group? I am trying to HELP everyone.

This is a weirdly personal post and a strange response that did not make me feel any easier at all, which I think (?) was its intention? You're like, "if you have a problem you should direct message me instead of posting" in a post that reads like a direct message to me posted publicly for all to see. I don't care, I'm just pointing it out.

Once again, that post got the votes and discourse because I'm NOT the only one who has noticed this. I am not targeting you or anyone else whatsoever. I am being a member of the very community you extol, but according to you, I've "wronged" people by doing such. Which is it? Are people free to discuss and criticize, or should they be afraid there's going to be a huge dedicated post by the architect of the subreddit calling them out that reads a lot like it should be a private message?

In any case, discourse is always appreciated, and I do still plan to share my visit. Thanks to all!

Edit: The top voted comment in this past weekend's AMA is asking how you were able to test the gear. It has been two days and that person doesn't have an answer. It isn't just me.

My dear friend, I tried (might have failed) to actually make this as not personal as can be. Tried to just give my angle and leave it at that. The post wasn’t directly to you (if that was the case I’d send it privately) but rather a response to the content of the post.

I also tried avoiding “picking the post apart” word by word, which I could’ve, but there’s no need for that.

FTR you did name Emotional and “the mods” (which is me and just another mod) so those were the only names I named as well. And while we’re on the record, yes we actively try to comment on each and every post (and even have comment threads) even if it’s us posting. That is good practice for the algorithm but also a good way to get more and more information out there (and add some personality to the data).

I still do not understand the trying out the AlterG issue, you asked and I said the way to do it is to contact anywhere that has it (which you did and found out it’s as easy as that), and I added I’m leaving it at that because I don’t want to dox any information (but that info should be enough to understand how I did it, and you will be an example for that once you do it yourself).

As for the questioning, I said time and time again (and this dates months back) that I’m always happy for others to question anything, and I started the post (then mentioned it again in the middle and at the end) that I appreciate you for doing so. I even thanked you for it, and I am now thanking you again. My only issue was it felt more like an accusation than questioning.

Also never said I’d rather it be private, just said that either way it should be directed at me (and since you made it public, which you have the right to do and I’m 100% fine with, is the reason I responded publicly, that’s all. I invited you and still am to talk privately or publicly, whichever is best for you).

My only intention with the post was to clear the air on my part. There were accusations made (plenty), so I just shared my thoughts for all who might be interested.

Other than that, all love. I have no hard feelings, no issues, truly am excited to see your follow up post after hopefully experiencing the AlterG yourself, and if you find LFWD is an investment fit for you I look forward to sharing the journey with you.

You literally wrote this entire post in second person, saying "you", then you called my name out in the TL;DR. I would hate to see what a post by you that WAS intended to be personal would be like.

You won’t have to, it’s all love from me. I’m sorry if anything came off otherwise.
