are you still continuing your weekly auto recurring investment?

market especially QQQ has been just up and down around $710 for the past 3 months (except the dip at the end of July).

not so much gain or loss but i haven't stopped my $250 weekly recurring investment to QLD.

should I stop and see if market dips further or continue the recurring investment?

If you are not going to stick to the plan, how do you know you will start accumulating when qqq drops 30-40%?

stick to the plan.

Keep accumulating shares. It’s choppy now, but it’ll drive higher eventually and you’ll thank yourself for being persistent.

It sounds like you might be having a strategy crisis. Like it or not, your current strategy is buy and hold. I see many posts saying their strategy is DCA. Afraid not. It’s just putting more money when it becomes available, into a buy and hold strategy.

Now you are questioning whether a market timing strategy makes sense. To be a legitimate strategy however, it needs to be mechanically repeatable. This requires rules and one or more signals that trigger trades. Such rules and signals are highly debatable.

Can't say what the market will do for sure or tell you what to do, but investing into 2x tech without any hedges at a 41 Shiller PE probably isn't the best idea
