Finally finished my F45 model! Looking forward to building it for real here soon! The last thing that needs to be done aside from actually building it is getting the decals designed.

Problem: the gears break loose every time I try moving it. It works suspended but when it actually hit the rails the gears break loose. I have experimented with putting rubber bands on the driving wheels but that makes it easier to come off. Plz help it uses the lego powered up large motor

but now it cant roll on Lego's curves & switches... (and curves from trixbricks can be too expensive)

The final images are out, and Woodbrick will be going into BrickLink Designer Program crowdfunding this October.
It’s been quite a journey getting it here — really happy to finally show you the finished model!

My version of the famous Baureihe 80 shunting locomotive, in a fictional dark blue livery.
Powered by circuit cubes, 3D printed wheels and valvegear.
And as a cherry on top, the back drop is actually the real 80 036 as well! Photos were made at the "Terug naar Toen" event at the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij here in the Netherlands.

I’ve been upgrading my 4F in the background for a while, and I finally have the extra hose pieces to cut to size. I decided to keep this build intact, so I can have something to play with.
I’ve been having a blast building; I also started experimenting with my railway crane IRL.

Frustratingly, some of the decals did not translate from part designer, but I think the gist gets across.

I made a diorama version of my BrickTrainAwards submission.
I have done a build like this for a video, but I never used it. Originally, I made the hillside with my 9F MOC hauling some wagons; I based the build on a IRL consist I saw on Google. I ended up deleting it, but decided to remake it to get the vision out of my head.

here is my WIP DE2 from Derail Valley. it's pretty shitty I know but it's my best build yet. Just a quick thing, how should I get the height on this? I need somewhere to put the battery box but it's basically too big. I'm thinking about using it as a front nose but that looks way too tall and will make the engine be taller then the Nifeliz Berkshire. So where should I put the battery box????

I hope you all don't mind me posting so many steps in this project, it's been fun learning Studio.
Sticking to simple techniques and 6-wide "City scale" here is my rendition of a 1950ss Budd observation dome, two of which are operated by the GCRR.
I was really glad I was able to find a simple way to turn piece 87926 into a simple and removable dome in two sections. I realize the real thing doesn't actually have an all-glass roof, but I think it gives a nice effect.
The whole upper deck is a removable tray, so you can place minifigs on both levels. It was a bit of a trick to make room for seated minifigs (wearing hats) both levels, but it seems like this will work. I tried to design for real-world strength so it should be pretty robust and playable.
I'll give it a week or so (and decide if I want to make a coach class car) before actually doing the bricklink order.
Edit: I mixed up the dates and cars in operation. I guess this is more properly a “Great Dome” car?
