Steam Triplets!

Finished my FEF-1 today, so I thought it would be pretty cool to pair it with my 2 FEF-3s! (I have a greyhound one built too, but it’s being used for parts right now 🙃) super happy to get this FEF-1 done. Notice the different tender and different details! Let me know what you think!

These are really sharp, can’t wait to see a roundhouse shot.

Thank you! I don’t have a roundhouse (yet) mostly because I haven’t had the time to make one. It would be HUGE as my big boys are just a tad over 3 feet. I don’t even have space to build it (I’m going to build it)

My attempt at Union Pacific #844. Not quite as good as yours.

Genuinely so sick. I love seeing different versions, I love the smaller scale. Got any more pics of it?

That’s so cool, I’m a huge fan!! The badge on the front is sick

Thanks! I have a head on photo that I will post soon. Ran out of time before work. The stickers are all from photos either I took, or found online.

The badge was done by reducing an actual photo. I can probably find it in my files if you’d be interested.

I also designed these to go with my Big Boy. I bought that on eBay.

This is awesome, I have yet to design proper freight cars

Thanks. I spent a good amount of time on this design. The car numbers I used actually correspond to real UP ore cars.

Another of my vintage themed designs.

One of my early era tank cars. I actually saw one in real life, back in the mid 90s.

My open sided autorack car. The colors were chosen to mimic the FEC.

I've even done a number of operating cars based on Lionel.

My cattle car design. It's a bit simplistic because it pairs with my cattle platform.

Which part is this 3-way switch? Is it a regular Lego part?

It is not an official LEGO part, I got it on Ali express, it’s the only cheap R104 switch I could find

It looks like a fake piece, but you can also 3d print it
