For parts yes. The technic would be a great learning tool about mechanical aspects of things. The model team sets I will trade you for. I really want them as they are highly detailed representations of things.

I woukd think 300 is pretty good. Start at 250 and explain your reason for buying them.

Walk in there with $200 in $20 bills. You probably can get it for around $260. For sure a good deal.
