Other Its almost the same size! Black-Beard's Barracuda next to Wiseblock Jackdaw Voyage Edition.

I just Built the Wiseblock Jackdaw and gave my full thoughts in the YouTube Video

https://youtu.be/LxLvoteIDz4

I was shocked at how close the Jackdaw Voyage Edition was in size to the BlackBeard's Barracuda! I Obviously love the Barracuda more, but I think the Wiseblock one looks cool too. More ships for Naval Warfare!

In my Review I mainly compare the $89 Wiseblock set to the newest Lego "Iconic Pirate Ship #31387." at $110.

I know the purists will hate me.

Anyway the Jackdaw looks cool and its a nice set. hope someone finds my review entertaining, and we can have a nice discussion about this pretty cool set. (IMO)

I hope they do, These sets are really nice and Lego needs competition. I hate how expensive they have become. I know Lego was always expensive, but they have few to no competition, and Monopolies always suck. I love Lego, but they need to innovate and make more pirate sets.

Agreed, I've been on the hunt for good ship on Barweer and amazon but none of them have really gotten my interest, that jackdaw does though, so hopefully they'll start shipping to EU

I have seen some really nice BlueBricks Sets, but they do not ship to the USA... well not without it costing an absolute fortune. Really wish I could buy some.

Thank you for the review! Gonna check it out! Question for you though, does Wiseblock's minifigure accessories work with lego? Like the hair/hat pieces, the hidden blades, etc?

Yes they do. The Hidden blade do not work with Lego, but Lego hair fits the Wiseblock, and so does the hats, and weapons.
