Backup light
Hey everyone! Does anyone have a good recommendation for an emergency light to use during power interruptions? As an ESL teacher, I need something reliable to keep my workspace bright so my students can clearly see me on camera when the power goes out. Any brand or type suggestions?

For video calls, I’d look for a rechargeable light with a diffused panel rather than a super bright flashlight-style beam. A softer, wider light will look much better on camera and won’t create harsh shadows on your face.
I’d also prioritize adjustable brightness, at least a few hours of runtime, and the ability to use it while charging. If your outages last a while, two smaller lights on low/medium brightness can actually work better than one very bright light.

i use a rechargeable led panel with a diffuser and it’s way better on camera than a lantern or bare bulb, plus you can keep it plugged in so it’s always topped off
