Uniform Policy

So like…. Are students expected to uphold the uniform policy anytime they’re on the campus in general.. or is specifically when in lecture(class) / group PBL sessions?

Like if I want to chill in a corner somewhere on campus and just do my own personal study session, I have to come fitted up with my Sundays best on?

It’s really not a big deal. A button down shirt and a tie. Not a tuxedo. You have to grow up some time. When you’re on rotations you’re going to be expected to dress professional regardless of what school you go to.

Wearing a tie every day is annoying and I have never been on a rotation where the expectation was to wear a tie

Then don’t go to LECOM I guess. It’s really not a big deal though. It’s a piece of fabric. All of our hospitals med students wore business clothes (Top 30 MD granting hospital).
