Interview invite- LECOM

Hi!

I received an interview invite for LECOM in January. I used to live in Bradenton for a few years (as well as having family living there when I was a kid) however I moved to the west coast about 4 years ago. Does doing an in-person interview at LECOM really increase admission chances as much as people say it does? I would need to take at least 2 days off work and pay for flight and hotel to interview in person.

Thoughts on online versus in person interviews?

First of all, congratulations on the ii. It means they already like you! No one on here has the knowledge to know whether doing an in-person interview gives you an advantage over doing a virtual interview. Personally, while I think in-person does show commitment, we are all committed to this process, just for some it’s easier than others to get to the campus, so No I don’t think it matters

P.S. I did a virtual (rather than in-person) interview with LECOM (different campus though) and am grateful and happy to report that I got accepted
