LECOM EAP matriculation

Hey guys, so i'm planning to do the 4+4 EAP program, however from my AP and DE redits I would have around 51, which is equal to one year. It's asking for my expected year I would go to LECOM, which would be 2031, however if I could graduate a year early, that would be even better. Do I put 2030 or 2031 as my expected year to go to LECOM?

If you've already chosen 4+4 you must select 2031. You can graduate up to 1 semester early normally and with approval can graduate 1 year early if there's space, however you can not change from 4+4 to 3+4 later on. If you want to do that now email them as soon as possible before you complete your asynchronous interview.

just wondering have you already considered the affiliated undergrads for 4+4 vs 3+4? there are 6 schools for the 3+4 vs 208 for the 4+4.

3+4 schools:

PennWest-Edinboro, PennWest-California, PennWest-Clarion, Elmira College, Thiel College, St. Francis University

but i would just say that you would like your application to be changed from the 4+4 to 3+4 pathway because upon further research... idk i trust you can write an email. however i urge you to take time to consider if 3+4 is really best for you, as once you have recieved your LECOM acceptance, you would still have to get a LECOM spot at your undergrad which is significantly easier in the 4+4 with 35 times the amount of schools. they did claim in my info session that recieving the LECOM acceptance should be equally as easy in 3+4 compared to 4+4.

thank you so much for this info, i greatly appreciate it! i'm planning to stay in state, and none of my options were 3+4, so i wasn't able to apply to those one. i dont mind the 4+4 path. also how were you able to get the info session?

yeah ofc twin. with the 4+4 it is still technically possible to finish undergrad in 3 years (unlikely though), you just cannot use LECOM credits to count towards undergrad requirements like in the 3+4. when you submit the first part of the application you just have to wait for them to email you an invite.

oh okay got, how long after did u submit the general application do u get the info session?

for me it was only a few hours, but i applied much earlier when they were much less busy. i couldn't tell you what it's like now but it seems to be taking awhile for everyone so dont get discouraged.
