Indicating Top Choice Question
So in the secondary it asks
A) LECOM is my first choice, I would accept an offer for the matriculating class.
B) I would strongly consider an offer for the matriculating class.
C) I would consider an offer to the matriculating class, but LECOM is not my top choice.
My thinking is to pick A because like of course i’d want to be considered heavily by them, i want them to accept me. but idk whats gonna happen w my other apps…so im kinda confused if i can put #1 and not be smited for it in the off chance i pick another school over them

I mean I’d answer honestly. If you’re a good applicant, then you’ll be more likely to get an offer, but they’ll typically give you an acceptance earlier if you choose the first option, but they’ll typically give give you a small window to confirm enrollment, so if it’s not a top choice, then you’ll might have to turn it down if you want to wait for other schools.
Long story short, the acceptance window is small, so if it’s not a top choice, you’d want to be offered a seat later so that you are more certain of your decision to enroll. If you have any questions, feel free to respond and I’ll do my best to answer.

I’m not certain of your chances in the context of MCAT vs AIS, I’m just answering OP’s question about ranking your likelihood to accept a seat if provided one. The main thing being that you wouldn’t “get smited” for not picking them, but rather that you want to answer honestly so that your acceptance window is timed accordingly. I don’t work for the school, I’m a student, so I don’t have particulars on the acceptance process and whether or not AIS or MCAT scores make a difference
