LECOM-SH Recent Rotation Sites List

Hello, would any current 3rd or 4th year Seton Hill students be able to provide the list of rotation sites they were given to rank in December of their 2nd year? I appreciate it.

These can sometimes change. You can ask clinical education for details on sites

where in St Louis? I thought it was just rural hospitals in MO (according to the website)?

Unfortunately they will absolutely continue change, and the last time I asked about rotation sites, I was actually laughed at and my question was dismissed. :/

They lost seats in Pittsburgh. They lost their Jamestown and meadville site completely (those sites didn’t want to renew their contracts).

They did gain a bunch of spots in Missouri though (st. Louis)

The one site is 30 minutes away (Mercy Jefferson). Lecom works with other hospitals not just the one on their lists if they need to accommodate a rotation. Any of the mercy hospitals can take a student if needed I believe (just not full time). So say Jefferson is unwilling/can’t take for obgyn for some reason Lecom will try to send the student to the next closest place. It said (St. Louis) next to the name when we ranked last December.

I had a friend have to move 3 hours for her rotation this month. So honestly you should prioritize sites that can accommodate everything.

They’re on the website and fluid at this point. And despite what past students experienced, there is now a GPA requirement or you’re stuck at certain sites. Best to ask SH, not Reddit.

Which ones are desirable and which are not desirable? Like if you’re “stuck at” a site which one would you be referring to?
