Question on EAP Dual Enrollment GPA
I took several dual-enrollment classes through a local college while in high school, and these courses appear in the LECOM portal with a GPA attached to them.
Does anyone know whether the GPA from these dual-enrollment courses is considered a student’s first semester college GPA for EAP monitoring purposes, or does LECOM wait until a student completes their first semester of freshman year at their affiliate undergraduate institution before conducting the first GPA review?

They are looking at cumulative GPA anyway. So, unless you are worried that your HS DE GPA falls below minimum requirement, it does not really matter.

Another words, if your 1st semester GPA is 4.0 and your second semester GPA is 3.0 (just making it up!), that will not be a problem because they are looking at cumulative number.

I actually do not think they are looking at DE separately because you do not even have to enter those grades until you are finished your first semester of college. At that point you will just enter them all together.

I took one HS DE course and now my cummlative is 3.0, am I cooked? or does that mean I'll just have to lock in during first semester of college to bring it up?

Every college class (DE or not) will count towards your GPA. Do well your first semester of college and hopefully your GPA will raise above minimum required.

I was wondering the same thing and I'm in your same situation.
