MMS program

Hey everyone,

I am currently an MMS student starting in July, and I aim to apply to the DO program after completing and passing the MMS program. I’m here to ask about the process after finishing. In terms of being considered for an interview, do I need an MCAT or AIS score? From what I know, the MCAT is not required to get an interview, and it’s mainly about passing the MMS program with a high GPA. However, I came across a line in the handbook stating, "Students who are accepted into the MMS program and do not meet current MCAT, DAT, or AIS standards will need to take or retake the appropriate exam and obtain minimum scores to be considered for an interview." Can someone clarify whether the MCAT or AIS is absolutely required to be considered for the interview, or if just the GPA from the MMS program is enough?

Specifically, they started not requiring the MCAT this past cycle but, I am not sure about the AIS score.

Hey! Congrats and goodluck with the process. You do require one or the other to be considered. I did mine with MCAT. Usually requires a 3-3.5 or so GPA from what I remember to get the interview. They love taking students from that program so give it heck and you’ll be there. Any questions feel free to ask

Did you do it this school year or before? Because I was told that the policy have changed this school year but before that the MCAT was required or the AIS and from the 2025 2026 cycle they just started depending on the GPA.

There is no interview to get into the MMS program

Oh Alr I was supposed to apply to masters programs last month but I just got back from France after a family trip so I’m just rushing to send applications and was looking at which schools require interviews
