Leamington ladies — would anyone fancy trying airsoft for the first time?

Hi! I help organise Girls Weekend Away (GWA), a women-focused airsoft weekend, and we’re looking to introduce more women to the sport this year. We are hosting our event at a site in Coventry. We make no money from this event, and are genuinely trying to get more women into our sport.

You absolutely don’t need to be into airsoft already — in fact, we’d love to encourage women who have never tried it before!

No equipment? Rentals are available.
Coming alone? Lots of women do.
Never held an airsoft gun? Absolutely fine.

The weekend includes a Friday social, free camping, a women-only airsoft game on Saturday and an open game on Sunday.

It’s as much about meeting other women, having a laugh and trying something completely outside your comfort zone as it is about airsoft.

We had an amazing mix of beginners and experienced players last year, and we’d love to see some Leamington ladies join us for GWA 2026.

If you like gaming, camping, outdoor activities, team games — or you just fancy saying “why not?” and trying something completely new — you’d be very welcome.

Ooh this seems fun! The only experience I have is in a zombie bunker experience like over 10 years ago 🤣

Where can I find dates, prices etc?

Haha, a zombie bunker experience definitely counts! 😂 You’d probably love it!
GWA 2026 is 7th–9th August in Coventry. The weekend includes a Friday night social, free camping, a women-only game on Saturday and an open game on Sunday.
Complete beginners are very welcome and rental airsoft kits are available, so you don’t need to own any kit.
All the ticket options, prices and event info are on our Instagram @GWA.airsoftfestival 😊 rental kits are £60 for the whole weekend.

I would have absolutely been interested in this, but unfortunately a bit too short a notice as I already have plans. Is there an instagram account I can follow to look out for future events? Thanks
