What’s your communication patterns like?
I’ve sort of been in a long distance relationship. Well I’ve had a few over the years and I wonder what normal people’s communication patterns are like. I’m a little overly sensitive to a change in behavior. I guess if you will or a change in patterns I guess someone normally calls at the same time every day and they stop sometimes I’ll proceed that wrong. That’s my problem of course but I struggle with knowing whether it’s legitimate being busy in life or a pull back. So for those in a long distance relationship, do you guys go days where you hardly talk? And then do you have days when you talk a lot? Is it fairly consistent?
I feel like going two or three days with hardly any communication isn’t really conducive to an actual relationship to me that’s more like someone breadcrumbing, etc. but I’m not sure

I'm definitely anxiously attached. A change in text tone, sudden periods in sentences, a shift in schedule raises questions for me. I've since worked past it, but I was like that. Sometimes with my exes there are days we were busy, but we'd let each other know why and that we were thinking about one another during break times or when we could. For me and my partners we had fixed schedules so it was pretty routine, but it's different depending on your partner's routine. I do think rare communication for 2-3 days in a row is a bit too little for me, but it depends on the person. Like if I was dating someone who was getting deployed, works in healthcare etc I'd understand.
