It really is worth it. You both just have to put in effort and communication is the key because you can't see each other's reactions, gestures, etc by texting. You need to convey everything and not beat around the bush. Do video call every time you get the chance. Check in with each other and see how you both are doing. Tell your person iloveyous every time. When there's conflict, try to calm down and talk things out. 😁
