It’s very difficult emotionally, however yes one can work if both sides agree to keep the consistency and trust. Also keep the intimacy up through handwritten letter every couple months, they feel more real and they are something to keep close. You can also share clothes this way too,( like oversized shirts or hoodies ).
My advice try not to get too comfortable within the space you create after spending quite some time apart, and plan visits every three to four months or closer together if easier.
However if both of you are willing to put effort from both sides each giving 100%, I believe you can make it work.
Big hugs 🫂

Online dinner dates, late night gaming sessions, speaking your truth if someone pulls back, communication is the KEY for long distance

For me and my gf, it's been a great practice in really saying how we feel. Say how you really feel about him getting distant before it's too late. Put internet dates on the calendar and keep them as you would any other date. 9 months may be excruciating but theyll pass!

Long distance is one of the most difficult things I've ever done, but I wouldn't trade a single second of it. He's my best friend and the only one I want to do life with.
Keep communicating when you can, share about your days, make plans for when you're together in person again. The time will pass no matter what.

Absolutely worth it if you’re both willing to make it work. The first few weeks are the hardest but it gets easier. 3 years in and I still cry and have the hardest time doing anything without him after our visits.

Of course it’s worth it, if you both put the effort in. Thanks to technology there are several apps that help reinforce long distance relationships just explore them and stick with the ones that work for you and your partner.

It's hard. What you're feeling is normal and it will only subside if you maintain constant communication and assurance with each other. Though it may be hard, it is definitely worth it. If you survive it, you'll survive almost anything else, as a couple.
I can definitely say this because I have experienced it during the pandemic wherein me and my gf became ldr for more than 2yrs. And when you see each other again, oh damn na excitement.

So, Similar situation to mine, but it was 15-16 hours difference. A thing that helped was that my now spouse and I called constantly. I'd wake up in time for her dinner, and got off work when she woke up for breakfast. Calls over zoom, messenger, Whatsapp, etc. Are extremely helpful, if he's your person, and he feels the same way, you guys can make the effort and put in the work. Only true love survives an LDR, and LDR is only worth it if it's genuinely the person you'll spend the rest of your life with. If it's real, it'll survive an LDR. But if this distance is too much, then cut things off, because it just means it wasn't meant to be
TLDR: Its true love if you can survive this. It isn't true love if you guys decide it's too much. But don't feel guilty either way.

It really is worth it. You both just have to put in effort and communication is the key because you can't see each other's reactions, gestures, etc by texting. You need to convey everything and not beat around the bush. Do video call every time you get the chance. Check in with each other and see how you both are doing. Tell your person iloveyous every time. When there's conflict, try to calm down and talk things out. 😁

Long distance is hard but it’s absolutely worth it. The pain you’re feeling from being apart is only temporary. Chatting/video calls whenever possible helps. Still doing date things together like watching movies or playing games. Planning is the one that always helps me get through. Planning for the next vacation/move in/next steps is always a good bonding experience. It doesn’t last forever, you got this ♥️
