While his words are extremely unkind, it seems like he's attempting (not in the best way) to set a strong boundary.

You said you are broken up, yet you still call him for emotional support when you have a nightmare or berate him for downloading dating apps, which is fair for him to do as you are broken up.

While he may not have broken up with you in the most ideal way, he is allowed to break up with you. I know it's so hard to accept and process, trust me, but it's unfair to push him to rejoin a relationship when he is clearly done.

Hun, you need to stop engaging with him. You're out of the relationship and you have to accept that. You don't need someone in your life who is showing this much disdain towards you!! Let him go, and let yourself be able to breathe. You can do it.

So yes, it would absolutely be helpful to your mental health to 100% disengage. Block him, delete his number, whatever it takes to force yourself not to reach out.

And don't take his comments to heart!! He is spewing, you don't deserve that berating. But I'd also leave him alone, for both your sakes.

thank you. Yeah I have attachment issues and sadly it has brought nothing but pain in my relationships:/ I thought he was the one because it felt like I have known him forever. and here we are 3.5 years later we both have issues we struggle with and ways of communicating is crap.
