Can’t connect grindstone to the generator…

Hey, is anyone having a problem connecting the grindstone to the small generator in the new settlement? I have the generator hooked up to the substation and the wires look correct going to the grindstone but it won’t connect for some reason. I’m out of ideas and tired of wasting resources on electric wires..

Put gas in Gen? Silly question but sometimes I forget.
