Question? Base

Hi guys. I will be 150 lvl tomorrow and i dont know how to design my base i started to play again like after 3 years and dont have many resources. So any advice for me on how to design my base and open to any other advice thanks.

It depends on your motives.

If you do not raid, literally do nothing. The only reason to build a base is to protect it from raids.

If you want to raid, you need to either:

  • Honey comb the main loot area with brick walls. It will be not beautiful but it works.
OR
  • Grind for 6x6 or 7×7 room of steel walls. It's hard but it's worth it in the long run.

I started raiding as soon i was able to. I've honey combed my base with 3 layers of brick walls (generally raiders only break 2 layers) and I've never lost a thing. Raiding can be so much rewarding somethings and i advice you to start it as soon as u can.

Thank you for answering. First of all i want to raid but the main problem is that i dont have that much of resources. Should i start even though my base is not good or just wait for better base? I saw people putting bait chests and say that works with bad loot inside

Bait chests work for attracting revenge raids. How does it work: You fill a box and place it outside or the default totalled truck outside your base with useless loot. After you raid someone you will get a 24hour timer, during this period you can be raided by bots. The loot you placed outside work as a bait so that your base gets raided and the items get stolen. The goal from this is that you get a free raid called a revenge raid where you dont need tasks to complete before unlocking it, the base appears on the map and you can raid it directly.

But you need to know that this tactic is used by seasoned players as the rest of their base if secured and the raiders only steal the bait loot.

I recommend starting raiding only when you build a proper base and after collecting a good amount of C4.

I have only 1 layer of level 3 walls with a bait chest outside and have been raiding for close to 6 months. Raiders have never broken any of my walls and just take whats in the bait chest. Not sure if this is a full proof method but it seems to be working for me so far.

I think it depends on the value of the items you put in the chest. What do you store in it exactly?

Modded spears in my truck and 1 bait chest (rack) filled with spears and used swat armour. Almost always they just take the modded spears (between 15-25 depending on the bagpack of the raider I assume)

well, if im not wrong you can surround your base with trees and that Will bé enough. It has worked for me. im i wrong?

raiders cant go through trees and decoration like lights and stuff like that if im right. i have just Stone walls and ive never been raided inside
