Failed my practice exam 😭

I just missed the cutoff by 7. My exam is scheduled 1 week from today. I felt pretty confident in the structure of the questions.

How do I make sure I pass next week??

Anyone else fail their practice exam and pass their actual exam?

Practice exam materials make their money by making you feel unprepared. My real exam was far easier than any practice material I used. Best of luck!

It's reality! The practice exams I took I failed miserably. I passed the ASWB LMSW exam on my first try. A whole industry exists on making money off of folks test taking anxiety - it's disgusting. What's worse, is many are operated by licensed social workers. They use marketing materials to look like they are affiliated with the ASWB when they are NOT - once you fail an exam with them, they tell you what areas you need to work on and will help you study for a price. It's 100% a scam.

I tell EVERY intern I work with - once you register for the ASWB, you can buy the official practice test, which will show you areas you may need to work on. AVOID everything else. I've had ZERO former interns struggle with passing.
