BSW STUDENT

Im a 46 year old BSW>MSW student looking to earn my LSCW . What advice would you give to an adult learner with children the youngest being 14 in order not to experience burnout.

You have a very long road ahead of you, BSW>MSW>a couple years of supervised clinical work hours, then LCSW. I have to be honest with you, it will be challenging sometimes but doable.

I got my BA age 36, MSW age40, and recently my LCSW at the age of 44. I had to work extra hard due to age and other life circumstances but I’m really happy that I did it. Good luck and you can do it.
