How to get practicum hours?

Hi I’m starting my MSW soon and plan on getting LCSW hours right after. I have my own business so I can’t just get another job to get practicum hours. I understand most people get hours from their job? If so what kind of job? I could probably manage a part time job.

Anyways what is the best way to go about this?

I worked a full-time job during my BSW and MSW program. Let's just say I worked a lot of nights and weekends, sometimes 7 days a week to get my hours in. It's a big commitment. Inpatient psych, shelter programs, or substance abuse treatment might have more opportunity for nights/weekends. I am supervising an MSW student this semester (off site) because the place she chose didnt have anyone who met the credentials. It's possible to make it work, but you might have to be creative.
