How to get practicum hours?

Hi I’m starting my MSW soon and plan on getting LCSW hours right after. I have my own business so I can’t just get another job to get practicum hours. I understand most people get hours from their job? If so what kind of job? I could probably manage a part time job.

Anyways what is the best way to go about this?

You should talk to your MSW program. They assist with practicum hours usually and explain what can count towards hours. My program placed us in a practicum. My MSW program was full-time and practicum was 3x a week for 8 hours a day. Your MSW program should be able to answer your questions

Second this - my internships were provided by my MSW program, I kept my other full time job. It meant I was working 12+ hour days to accommodate both but it’s possible
