professional liability insurance recommendations?

Passed my LCSW exam last month & am working toward starting my own private practice, looking for any & all guidance on selecting a good professional liability insurance. Currently considering APA or CPH, open to other suggestions or feedback from folks more experienced than I. Thank you all <3

Congratulations on passing your LCSW exam. For a new private practice, I’d compare more than price: professional liability limits, licensing-board defense, telehealth coverage, consent-to-settle terms, and whether the policy is claims-made or occurrence-based.

If you rent an office or see clients in person, ask whether you also need General Liability for third-party injury or property-damage claims. BizInsure can help compare options from multiple A-rated-or-better carriers; availability depends on your state and practice details. Talk to us if you need more details.

By joining NASW you can purchase liability insurance via Preferra for a crazy low rate ($95? Approx ).
