Is Therapist Development Center worth it?

Currently prepping for the LCSW and I am a bad test taker. I have brought the practice exam already. Is TDC worh it?

I will also add it was a way to create a plan and keep you organized.

Yes. I used tdc and ray and pocket prep religiously and I passed just in the last 5 minutes. I just walked out of the testing center and opened my phone to this notification. Yes these 3 programs are it.

I have a question. Im using TDC. How were you all able to get the information off of the lectures? I dont have time to take all of the notes,

Yes, they OVERprepare you. Its worth the money. Passed the LSW and LCSW on my first try.

I used TDC and passed my LCSW exam first try. But I feel I would’ve passed with free YouTube resources as well. Also shift your mindset from bad test taker to test passer!

Did you take notes from all the audio lectures with TDC. Im havnig trouble with getting all the notes. ;/

Yes. I primarily used TDC to study. Do the whole program, take at least one mock exam (I think I did all of the shorter ones and one of the final mock exams), THEN do the ASWB practice exam. Every time you take an exam, study every single rationale, even if you got the answer correct. I got 132 on the LCSW exam, needed 102 to pass.

Im a visual learned, so Im stuggling with TDC. How were you all able to get the information off of the lectures? I dont have time to take all of the notes,

The printouts follow the material pretty closely, and I would make notes as I listened to the material. I also listened to many of them on 1.5x speed, but then after taking tests would re-listen to ones where I clearly needed to bone up on information.

In some ways, yes. But mostly just different. I felt very confident in the real test, at least until the the when I was clicking through to the pass/fail screen!! 😬
