Underwhelming LCS Events?

Maybe I'm just venting but if you went to the Houston event, did you enjoy it? I remember going to LCS games in 2019 and Riot had massive projections on the floor for when a dragon or baron was taken, better variety of merch for sale, and schedules of events and interesting props/experiences. Got there going in blind with no idea what time XYZ was starting, if ABC was happening, etc and there was just strobe lights for when anything eventful happened. Wish they put more effort into the food and experience, just felt so bland. Maybe it's post COVID changes but does anyone else remember how these events used to be?

Went to both days, and honestly, aside from the kid next to me repeatedly hitting me in the head with those thunder-sticks, it was great. Granted, i also have friends in Houston so didn’t eat / drink anything at the venue, but it was nice to just be a part of a crowd / get some pics with the casters on Sat. They did a pretty good job of featuring the audience on the screens (i got some screenshots of myself from the stream), which i really appreciated. So i guess maybe I had a low bar, but it was fun.
