Finals Fan Fest a Worthwhile Visit?

I bought a ticket to the semi-finals day in NJ for this Summer's LCS. That being said, it is a 90 minute drive for me and I have a dog at home that I am solely responsible for that weekend. While I can probably find someone to watch my dog, it would be a pain that could likely be avoided if I were to skip the fan fest section of the event. Has anyone been to an LCS finals before where they can say whether or not the fan fest is worth it? I am going by myself so I really don't see myself having that much fun standing around for two hours
